Sahara Management Solutions was founded in 2002, to help healthcare organizations navigate through the complexities of assessing software products, calculating true costs, making ASP decisions, and to integrate the best solution with clinical work process. Sahara uses a team oriented approach to achieve project goals, while leveraging and coaching existing staff.
Since founding Sahara, Keely has assisted dozens of nonprofit healthcare agencies with their Electronic Healthcare Record System (EHR-S) selection and implementation, and provides ongoing consulting and seminars for the industry and its members.
Prior to founding Sahara Management Solutions, Keely held the Senior Vice President of Operations position at PacketVideo Corporation with responsibility for the company’s Consumer Applications & Services Division. Before joining PacketVideo, Keely McGeehan served as Vice President of Broadband Internet and Digital Telephone Services for AT&T Broadband. Keely led client projects in many industries, including Healthcare, Aerospace, and Manufacturing, for Candle Corp., Century Communications, and Xerox Corporation.
Keely holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as certifications from the USC Marshall School of Business in Advanced Telecommunications Management, from Smith College in Executive Management, and from Xerox Corporation in Total Quality Management. Keely was recognized as a Who’s Who in Technology by the Los Angeles Business Journal, has developed and led numerous seminars, including Strategic Technology Planning for Non-Profit Leaders, Managing For Results and Operational Leadership, and Los Angeles County DMH IBHIS seminars. Keely is a member of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Project Management Institute’s (PMI), and a volunteer for Engineers Without Borders and Sahara Solutions Foundation, providing technology and education assistance to schools in Africa.
