LACDMH has hired Jayesh Patel, but he goes by Jay Patel, as the Enterprise Applications Division Chief responsible for both the current IS operations and the new IBHIS implementation. He reports directly to Bob Greenless.
LACDMH is now reviewing the IBHIS RFP vendor responses and Jay believes the implementation may be complete by 2013, but that is not firm. They should have their selection decision in early 2011, and the new EDI certification process for contract providers in 2012. However, these are all guestimates.
The good news is that they are hoping to implement a real-time EDI transaction process, and do away with the FTP method used now.
There will be no more regular CPTT meetings, they will call them as needed only. Advisory Committee meetings will continue every 2 months.
